Please check out the video below for how to select and then how to choose the proper sized bike. At around 4 minutes and 50 seconds in the video below, we discuss fitting a bike and tips for measuring your inseam.

Online you'll see assorted bike sizing charts, but they are general estimates and standing over a bike to understand how it fits your body type is the most accurate way to ensure you are getting the correct size. If you have an existing bike, please measure from the middle of the crank to the top of the seat tube to get the size of the bike frame. The other major component to address is the handlebar reach. If the reach to the bars is not comfortable, you may need to swap out the stem on the bike to alter your reach.

When determining frame size, we recommend that customers have an inseam length at least 1 or 2 inches, or 2.5 to 5 cm above the frame size they are considering. This distance is important to ensure when dismounting you are not caught up in the frame. If you are not sure which bike frame to choose, visit a local bike shop to have your inseam measured and  stand over a couple of bikes to see what size fits your body best and to ensure that you will be safe.
